Spring/Summer/Fall

Trophy Fly Fishing - Batstone Lake is our private trophy lake that produces huge fish.

Horseback Riding - Bring your own horse, hay, and water buckets (No Charge).

Hiking -Many km's of  trails on the property to explore.

Bird Watching - The property has a lot of wetland marshes and scenic views. Plan a nature hike in the forest or around the lake and enjoy the bird habitat created in conjunction with Ducks Unlimited Canada that has enhanced our wetland habitat reserves.

Mountain Biking - There is an abundance of trails and grassland roads to explore.

Golfing - There are two nine hole golf courses in Merritt with pro shops and licensed clubhouses. These courses include the Merritt Golf & Country Club (www.merrittgolf.com), and the Nicola Valley Golf Course which is located just 15 min North of Merritt on Highway 5A where you can enjoy lunch at historic Quilchena Hotel (www.nicolavalleygolf.com). There is also an 18-hole championship couse in Princeton located 30 minutes from the ranch (www.princetongolfclub.com).

Adventure - Visit a museum in Keremeos, Hedley & Princeton, walk through the tunnels on the Trans Canada Trail and see the Red Bridge in Keremeos. You can pan for gold, hunt for fossils, go tubing down the river, explore ghost towns, visit fruit stands, and enjoy the area. You can also take in the Merritt Pro Rodeo in September.
 
Relax - Recharge the batteries at the ranch.

 

Winter

Cross Country Skiing - km's of trails on the property offer beautiful winter scenery. The ranch is also located only 25 minutes from the  Kane Valley cross country ski area.

Snowshoeing - Hike on snowshoes through deep powder for a truly exhilarating workout.

Snowmobiling - Explore the breathtaking winter scenes on your snowmobile (crown range land to ride on).
 
Relax - After a long day outside, curl up and enjoy warm hot chocolate fireside.
